New York City Artist:
I loved her kinky way of going about art. She really just goes with the flows. I noticed that her work consisted of shapes, circles small little rectangles. Towards the end, she mentioned that her view of the icy influenced her work. The small little rectangles resembled the building windows and the small circles resembled the beautiful city lights. She didn't realize this until someone asked her.

Note to Self:
Influenced by his learning disability. Once the face is flattened, he can recognize it.
Influenced by the can't do's:

  • Learning disability
  • Paralyzed
  • Face blindness
Talked about how he lost his father: "Getting through things, there being an end to sorrow, you will be happy again in the end."
He feels the greatest pleasure in doing art.
"Inspiration is for amateurs, the rest of it is just show up and get the work"
Great ideas grew out of work
Given a task and just does it, he's more of a precise type of artist.
"You don't have to invent the wheel all the time." It's okay to use past work or another persons idea tod design or inspire a new one.

Quote that reflect his work:
"Size of a problem too big, break it down into small pieces"
